Our Mission

The Cuyuna Range Food Shelf provides substantial distributions of good nutritious food for individuals and families on a monthly basis and provides immediate assistance in emergency situations.

The Food Shelf provides:
Fresh produce, dairy, meat, canned goods, packaged foods and some personal items

Communities covered:
Any individual or family in need of nutritious food. Our intent is to positively impact the health and well-being of individuals and families in the cities and rural areas surrounding Crosby, Deerwood, Ironton, Cuyuna, Trommald and Riverton but will provide food to anyone needing it.

Our measure of success is that we will never send anyone away empty-handed; a goal we have met for over 40 years of operation since our founding.

Your contributions of time, skills, financial support, and food donations are essential in allowing us to serve as a vital resource for the community.

The Cuyuna Range Food Shelf is affiliated with Second Harvest Northland Food Bank and Feeding America. We receive monthly shipments from Second Harvest and benefit from Federal TEFAP funding.

We are located in Crosby at the junction of Cross Street and 3rd Avenue North across from the old Minnesota Power building.
